I'm abit of a movie buff, especially with foreign films. Hong Kong action films mostly, but even I would dabble in the art house film such as Amelia, The Tin Drum, and Eat Drink Man Woman. So my interest was piqued when I stumbled on this piece from Australia called Alexandra's Project.

The lead actress, Helen Buday, is known to American audiences as the beautiful Savannah Nix from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome.



I wouldnt say that Alexanda's Project was a bad film, but it could have been better. It was a wee bit long by say, oh, 40 minutes. Some scenes were refreshing and even caught me by surprise, but for the most part, the film took too long to get started with the rest of it being pretty predictable.

On the plus side, we get to see Buday naked. Among other things. Heh.
