Keep honking. I'm reloading -- local bumper sticker

There are some people who had better be glad that I don't carry my handgun in the car as often as I should. Then again, I dont think I would have enough clips. For whatever reason, today was one of those days in which no one knows how to frigging drive.
While coming into work, a green Mazda 626 was adamant about getting to its destination. This was apparent by the number of close the female driver had when she kept weaving between lanes, cutting off other cars by the matter of inches. I watched her in my mirrors as she attempted to fly past my Jeep Cherokee, jumping from the right lane to the left, then accelerating just in time to slow down for the Honda along side of me. Then as I gained ground, the Mazda would jump behind me, closing the distance between us to another mere inches. At one point, she even debated about using the bicycle lane to get around me. If she had even attempted that, I definately would have blocked her off, even rammed her off the road.
As bicyclist, that is a major faux paus that should be dealt with in the harshest manner.
Then when leaving work, while making a right turn onto the main road, a Toyota Celica used the straight ahead lane to cut ahead the long line that was in the right turn lane to make its own right turn. The teen driver had the audacity to look surprised as I was attempting to get into the same lane that he had abruptly appeared in. I was close enough to see his face look in shock as I used my hand to make the firing pistol sign. Nice point blank range...
And then 10 minutes later, not even a half mile from my own home, while I was making a left hand turn, another driver decided to use the straight ahead lane to cut ahead of the long line in the left turn lane to make a left turn, almost crashing into me, and then almost a lamp post. And again, the driver acted surprised that I was there. She was even more surprised when my hand once again made the firing pistol sign. Another point blank victim.
Granted, I know that my own act of making the sign is a symptom of road rage as well as ticketable offense, but I figure that if someone is stupid enough to throw away their life like this, then I should be more than accomodating.
Think about it the next time you get behind the wheel, people. The next driver you anger may not be as calm as me. You may be driving fast, but there are ten little bullets that will go much faster than you.
Out in The Yard
There was an article on CNN's site: Got a sex question? Ask Grandma.
Umm.. ew! Can you even imagine your grandparents' having sex? Ew ew ew!
Just saw these from Hategasm's Blog:
- Yahoo's article about Leslie Cheung's Death. Leslie was a pretty good actor from Hong Kong that had starred in "Ghost in White Hair," "A Better Tomorrow," and the "Chinese Ghost Story" series. I never heard the man sing, but he started out as a pop star.
- An article about the possible murder of Salaam Pax. Salaam is known for his blog Where is Raed?, which expresses the Iraqi's anti-Sadaam thoughts. Its speculation that a recent BBC show may have revealed Salaam's identity to Iraqi officials. And for any Iraqi to think against Sadaam means certain death.
Background Noise
There is a repeat episode of Law And Order that I've seen over a dozen times. I really need to see why the cable tv directory isn't working because I'm practically trapped on this channel.
Last night's episode of The X-Files was pretty good. The story had alot of tributes to science fiction stories. This episode about the invading cochroaches occurred in Miller's Grove, the same place where the Martians had invaded the Earth in the radio play "War of The Worlds." There were a lot of references to the original "Planet of the Apes" movie.
I'm definately going to have to go back pick up the season boxed sets.
