My friend Fury got me hooked on blogs so I figured I would try this for myself. I know that I am no true writer, but hopefully it can make someone smile. If not, maybe it will keep me out of trouble.
Tower View
So much going on with work and homelife. I know I havent been happy with both, but they seemed to be tied to the weight I feel. Everything is so close yet so far. Its a good thing that Gi, the work wife, understands how things are for me. So there is at least one female in my life that is willing to put up with my moodiness. Lord knows no other one would. Ha!
I broke down and picked up the Smallville soundtrack although I dont watch the show. I was wandering around FYE and heard the "Dont Dream Its Over" cover by Six Pence None The Richer. That alone made me want to buy the cd and I admit that it was worth the money. I find myself continuously play the tracks by Remy Zero, Eva Anderson, and especially "Everything" by Lifehouse.
Out in the Yard
Ron Jeremy turns Fifty today. Gah, lucky sod. Hope I can do as much in life.
Background Noise
"Tokyo Raiders" is on the Action Channel. Awesome movie!
Raiders is a Hong Kong action/comedy movie starring Tony Leung, Ekin Cheng, and Kelly Chen. Tony Leung is a private investigator out to find Chen's fiance, who left her at the alter. Cheng is the interior decorator trained in martial arts and is chasing after the fiance as well because he was paid with a bad check. He accompanies Chen to Japan to find the fiance in hopes to get his money back. During their search, they run into Leung.
Its hard to say that these three are actually teaming up since both men are always harrassing each other, especially when it comes to how they feel about the absolutely lovely Chen.
The action is fun and offbeat while the spanish style music simply makes you want to dance.
The English dubbed version is what is being shown and I have to admit, that it really isnt too bad. They were able to keep the humor while keeping the story somewhat in tact. Still, the purist in me prefers the subtitled version.
If you havent seen this movie, either version is worth seeing. Ha!
